LCA uses interactive, multi-media, computer-delivered curriculum in order to target instruction to a students specific needs and abilities. This is useful for credit recovery, addressing weaknesses, filling gaps in learning, or challenging advanced students. We strive to maintain an environment free from distractions and conducive to learning. Through a dual-enrollment agreement with our publisher, students can take fully accredited classes so that credits earned will transfer easily if the student leaves LCA.
Since most of our students continue their education beyond high school, our focus is on college preparation. Students are tested annually, beginning in 8th grade, to ensure their progress toward the highest possible scores on college entrance exams. Our goal is to provide each student with quality academic preparation and help them develop personal accountability, so they will have the necessary tools to make wise decisions concerning their educational and career choices. We strongly encourage enrollment in a Christian College. We recommend that every student seriously consider at least one year in a Bible college prior to making a long term career choice.
